About The President

President Bob bears the unusual distinction of havings served previously as both President of the Hornell Rotary Club as well as District Governor of District 7120.

1973 was the year that Bob joined the Hornell Rotary Club. In his 40 years he has done so much for the club and for District 7120 as well. He served as District Governor from 1999-2000 and became affectionately known across the District as Bovenor Gob. Bob clearly epitomizes the Rotary motto of "Service Above Self"

  • Water filters, toilets, and hygiene training to prevent fluorosis, diarrhea, and other diseases in India

  • Peace-building seminars for 200 teachers and 1,300 students in Uganda
  • Treated mosquito nets and medical services that prevent malaria in Mali
